Congregational Response:   We pray this in the name of the Star-Child, the Hope-for-Peace Child, the Christ Child.   Amen

The Helping Hands/Helping Neighbors Ministry team coordinates home repairs and maintenance for those unable to take care of their homes for a variety of reasons.   Volunteers provide labor, ranging from painting to cleaning, and about everything in between.   The team also plans and hosts the annual dinner auction, which raises funds for those projects when the homeowner is unable to cover the full cost.   If you might be able to help with a project or the auction, please contact Mike or Carol Bennett.

*CALL TO WORSHIP AND OPENING PRAYER

      One:   God's kingdom is already in our midst…

      All:    but its fullness is still to come.

      One:   It is both already and not yet here.

      All:    It is begun, and we know the ending;

      One:   but the details are unfinished.

      All:    May we seek God in all the details of life and love in this Advent Season.   Amen.
