Dear God: We give thanks for the gift of leadership and for those who lead. We also give thanks for those willing to pass on responsibilities to others. Sometimes you call all of us to lead for a time, and other times you ask us to let others take the wheel. Give us wisdom to discern both and the courage to know that each is important to the body of Christ. Amen.
