Our Praise Team selects upbeat music from the traditional hymns and contemporary Christian songs. 

New time, effective November 16, 2011: The Praise Team practice is on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 pm.

Both early and late services are blessed by the accompaniment of Dr. Stephanie Owen, who demonstrates her wide-ranging talents on the organ and keyboard. Find out more about Dr. Owen at her web site.

johndirectingchimesimg 0923Chancel Chimes, directed by John Watters, is open to all ages from children in fourth grade though adults. If you read music, even just the basics, you are invited to join in.  Chancel Chimes play in worship periodically.

Chancel Chimes rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

 

 

 

Children’s Choirs are coordinated by Aubrey Pieper. Kids Choir is for ages 7 to 10, and Cherubs Choir includes kids under 7. Our kids enjoy songs, musicals, fellowship and laughter, and sing and play in worship!

Children meet in the Sanctuary to sing (in advance of Sunday School) at 9:30 am

Grace Fisher, a graduate of McKendree, sang in summer, 2011.
